A special celebration on Sunday 26th March

Wallington High School for Girls at 10.30am

Springfield Church is 25 years old on Mothering Sunday.

Springfield was started as a new, fresh expression of church in March 1992.  The congregations of Holy Trinity and St Patrick’s church released more than 70 people plant a new, contemporary worship service with a commitment to reach those who did not yet know Jesus. They met on Sunday mornings in the hall at Collingwood School, Springfield Road….hence the name Springfield Church.

The church soon grew in number and in 1996 the church moved to a larger site at Wallington High School for Girls, where we still meet for Sunday worship today.

We are so thankful for all that God has done over 25 years of Springfield’s life as a church.  We hope you will join us on Sunday, 26th  March for a celebration of Springfield’s 25th anniversary.
We are delighted that the Bishop of Croydon, Jonathan Clark will be joining us for this special service.

It will also be a time to celebrate Mothering Sunday, and all the different ways that women mother, nurture and care for others. A posy of flowers will be given to all the women in the congregation to show our appreciation.

Following the service, all are invited to gather for prosecco and a special celebration cake as well as tea, coffee and juice.
