Jon leads Springfield Church and is married to Natalie. They moved to Wallington in November 2017 having previously worked at St Chad’s Romiley, near Manchester. Jon is passionate about seeing God’s people set free to worship Him, to see His Kingdom come in their lives, and to be empowered to share the gospel. Jon loves all sports, playing & recording music, and cooking and his day off is Friday.
Jane has been curate at Springfield since June 2016, and despite having lived away from this area for the ten years prior, is originally from Ewell. She spent five years working in publishing before working as a pastoral assistant and then training for ordination, and is passionate about people seeing God’s transforming love changing lives. In her spare time she enjoys socialising with friends, creative writing and visiting interesting places.
Sarah joined Springfield Church six years ago, along with her husband Mick, and she has worked part-time for the church since 2015. Sarah has known God’s faithfulness over many years and loves to encourage and help others in experiencing the reality of Jesus in their lives. Sarah has three children and loves Cornwall, coffee and cake.
Nigel is the Springfield Church administrator and has been married to Sandy for over 37 years. They have three children and have lived locally all their lives. Nigel is also part of our youth team and is privileged to work with loads of fantastic young people who teach him so much. He loves going for long walks, especially with Sandy, and cooking for large numbers of people.
Sue, a retired Occupational Therapist, considers enabling people to achieve an independent and fulfilling lifestyle is a practical expression of God’s love. A high regard for older people and the importance of physical, emotional and spiritual health has led her to ministry among our senior members and the wider community. Sue enjoys supporting people moving forward in their faith journey.
