As we approach Christmas, Advent is a time to reflect both on the coming of Christ as a baby, as well as when He comes again and completes history. In this time we reflect on the time in which we find ourselves, we look at the bibilical stories and ask ourselves how they relate to our current situation.

On a worldwide level, 2016 has been a year of change and political division. Personally, it has looked different for us all, with some of us experiencing turbulent times and others finding God’s spaciousness and rest. Or maybe quite a lot of both!

In our Advent series, ‘Living in an Uncertain World’ we will be reflecting on what it looks like to know God’s sovereignty in an uncertain world: God’s power, God’s hope, God’s joy and healing.

And find out more about our Christmas service times and styles here.
