Easter is nearly upon us. The time of year when we celebrate the great sacrifice of Jesus and His vindication through the resurrection on Easter Day. It’s easy to just try and treat it as a couple of Bank Holidays or to pass through it quickly. So to help us consider all that Jesus has done for us we are holding a number of ways to reflect on His sacrifice to celebrate the Good news of Easter.
- For our young people (those in year 7 and above), we are holding a number of Easter reflective activities from 30th March to 1st April. Do have a read of the flyer and come with friends (and permission slips).
- We are holding a day of prayer on Wednesday 1st April that will help us to focus on the cross and also to intercede for all the needs around us. We are holding it at St Paul’s and we have a sign-up sheet to ensure that we can stay open all day: http://www.24-7prayer.com/signup/e0a1da
- On Good Friday we will be repeating the amazing installation from last year. Come and remember and experience the story and events of Good Friday and the impact that this incredible day has on our lives today. It will allow people to meditate alone or with family and friends, on the arrest, trial and crucifixion of Jesus.
- We will also have a Sunday Easter celebration service on the 5th of April (10:30am) where we will be joyfully celebrating the good news of the resurrection of Christ.
Do join us this Easter to give thanks for Jesus.
