New year for children

01 Jan

Sunday mornings for children gets off to an exciting start

on 8th January at Wallington High School for Girls

from 10.20 – 12 noon

Roadrunners, for primary school children in years 1 to 6, start the new year with an adventure in prayer. We’ll be looking at how Jesus prays; how he prays for others, for his own needs and his prayers for us. We’ll also meet some people in the Bible who prayed, like Peter and Esther and find out about how prayer helped people in their mission in countries around the world.  There will time for worship and prayers together as we unpack the stories and think about the impact of prayer in our own lives.

Come and join us for sports and games as well as crafts too in a fun and action packed morning.

Sparklers for children aged 3 to 5 years have an adventure with Jesus to look forward to in the new year. We’ll be finding about about Jesus who loves us and how he cares about others. There will be some amazing stories from the Bible to share and time together for songs and prayers.

To help everyone settle in there will lots of toys and games to play as well as things to make and refreshments too.

We hope you will come and join us.

Our youngest children are cared for during the service by a team of kind and friendly helpers. Under 3s and their families are welcome to meet up in the family corner when the service starts and then make their way to creche together if they would like to.

We take the safety and safeguarding of all our children and their families very seriously and make sure that all our leaders and helpers undergo a DBS check.
