Preparing for God to move – Prioritise
What is God doing in your life? Where is He on the move? What are you praying and hoping for?
As we prepare for Christmas, Jon is also encouraging us to prepare for what God’s got planned for you and for Springfield. And to do this we’re going to look at how some of the people involved in the nativity story prepared for God to move. This week is Joseph, in Matthew 1.18-24, who prepares for God to move by putting God first.
He’s STILL got the whole world in His hands – Hope
Our hope is God’s love for us. What or whom you are hoping in determines your ability to maintain hope. How do we remain hopeful in a hopelessly broken world?
Throughout the pages of Scripture, we are told to put our hope in God – And Philip unpacks Romans 8.18-25, 38-39, Romans 12.12 and Psalm 33.22 to help us.
He’s STILL got the whole world in His hands – Pray until the peace comes
In the midst of uncertain times what are we to do? Paul says in Philippians 4.4-7 that we should pray until the peace comes!

Uncertainty is nothing new. Most of the bible was written during uncertainty and Mark 14.17-26 depicts a time of great uncertainty for Jesus and the disciples. The world might look a mess now, and times seem uncertain – but God is not. He’s STILL got the whole world in His hands.

Dangerous Prayers – Search Me
