What is Supernatural Disciples?

Supernatural Disciples is a new 12-week learning community where we’ll explore what following a supernatural God looks like in our everyday lives.

Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father” (John 14.12)

Jesus took ordinary people and turned them into world changers – by teaching them, by encouraging them to imitate him, and by empowering them to innovate. If we’re going to be beacons of hope in our community then we have to re-learn to do the works and wonders of Jesus as well as saying the words. And we cannot represent a supernatural God just by words.

How will it work?

Over 12 sessions, with a maximum of 12 people in the group, Supernatural Disciples is a place where we’ll look at what Jesus said and did, explore how he empowers his followers through the Holy Spirit, and put this into practice in our everyday lives. It’s ok to make mistakes, and we’ll support each other in stepping out in faith and into the supernatural. We will learn by trying stuff, and there will be plenty of opportunities to grow in faith and understanding.

Please ensure that you can make all sessions before signing up. If you can’t, don’t worry – we are hoping to be running this regularly as soon as practicable.
