“We are pleased to announce today, Sunday 4th June 2023 that, the Reverend David Atkinson, presently Curate of Springfield Church, Wallington, has been appointed Minister in Charge of Springfield Church, Wallington, subject to completion of the necessary procedures. Further details, including the date of the Licensing service, will follow in due course.” It made for an awesome amount of cheering as the congregation applauded the news!
